That is something you probably don't hear every day but yes, I love my job. I applied at Hunkemöller, a very expensive lingerie store and guess what? They called me the day after I handed in my application and said that they would take me. I wasn't even surprised because from the moment I set foot into that store I knew it was the right thing for me. I never thought that selling underwear could be so much fun. (The pay's good as well)
Of course, it's nothing I wanna do forever. I still hope that my future lies in writing.

Apart from that nothing really happened in the meantime. I'm seeing friends, going on bad dates, writing, making clothes and such. . .

But speaking of bad dates. What's up with the guys at the moment? In the past few months every male being seems to wanna undress me with a gaze. They stare at me, whistle after me and my friends. . . It's kinda weird and makes me somewhat uncomfortable :S

I thought it was time for a little update to tell you what's been going on in my life the past few months.

I'm taking a break from university. As some of you might know, I don't like what I've been studying the last year and I wanted to change which turned out to be impossible right now because I'm lacking the right French (!!!) grades to study English (!!!). So I'm gonna take language classes next year and apply again for English and Literature. In the meantime I hope to get a job in a pizzeria so I can at least earn some money and maybe fulfil the desire to travel to London next year.

I have also been offered to publish my first own book, something that makes me very, very proud. It will be a collection of my poems and short stories and maybe I can even convince my publisher to print them in German AND English, so that my friends all over the world can read it, too.
Right at the moment I'm concentrating on another Harry Potter FanFiction, though and it just won't leave me alone. Since I started it I barely stopped writing. I will post it on FanFiction.net when I've written about half of it. It's a Bellatrix/Sirius story, my favourite HP couple.

Yes, I've seen the 6th movie. I went to the movies with friends the night it came out and I was wearing my Bellatrix dress (yay!). I really had sooo much fun being Bellatrix again and I'm honestly considering dresses like her for the next book fair again since I decided to let my hair grow - which isn't really Joker-like. But we'll see.
Anyways. . . Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was pure awesomeness. I think this is the best movie they made so far. Very funny with all those teenage stuff XD And of course Bellatrix was the hightlight. In my opinion Helena Bonham Carter stole everyone's show. She's just so kickass as Bella.

Anything else that's new? Yeah, I am bored out of my mind. All of my friends are on holiday right now and I don't really have anything to do. I'm cleaning my room every day, I write, I make videos, I watch movies, I do random stuff on the internet and I'm still bored.
But at least I've got R2-D2 to keep me company. About a month ago I bought this little droid from Star Wars in an interactive, voice-activated version. The little guy is so much fun. Check my YouTube Chanel for a video with him.

Yeah, I think that is about the most important news. Now I can go back to writing. . .

Me: I have to wash my favourite jacket. You know. . . the white one. . . with the funny sleeves O.o

Friend: That's a picture of my boyfriend going to the bathroom. . . or his sister's room. I could never tell that apart.

Friend (after trying (and failing) to put my radio into the bracket): Ahhh, that's alright. It looks goooood. Gosh, lucky I'm not going to be a surgeon. "Hey, why did you sew my foot to my shoulder?" - "Ahhh, that's alright. It looks gooooood."

Friend: Too bad Heath Ledger can't play the Joker in the next Batman flick again. Ahhh, he's still alright. We'll dig him out. That'll be fiiiiiine. It'll look gooood.

Me (talking to a plan for a few minutes, then turning to my friend): Greetings from Patti (other friend) by the way.
Friend: You named that plant Patti?

Friend: See, I made a hat from this wrapping.
(Me takes it, looks at it, eats it.)

after a lot of thinking (and a lot of listening to my grandma, who, after all, is right from time to time) I have decided to try and apply at an art academy for Fashion Design.

I have a lot of sketches for other things. I am going to make a Harley Quinn DRESS for a friend to wear at the next book fair and if we find someone to be Poison Ivy, I'm gonna make that costume, too. I also want to make a 60s dress for the summer and maybe a ball dress just to see if I can do it. And next week I'm gonna buy fabric for a simple (but funny) jacket.
I hope to get an internship at our theater's costume section because that's a job I could imagine doing later after I finished and the school wants a 9 month internship. So keep your fingers crossed, will you?

Contra:
I can't draw for my life -.- If you look through my gallery you'll find a few pencil pieces and some things I tried to draw with photoshop and they aren't good. My friend has agreed to teach me a few things and I really WANT to learn (I have more than a year to get better at drawing) but what I need is someone to tell me what doesn't look so good and what I could do better. That's why I'm gonna post my attempts here on D.A. and I hope that you'll be so kind to give me some advice. That would be really, really helpful

First piece to be posted will be a Harley Quinn drawing. I've done the outlines so far and now comes the shading and detail part.

Ooops. . . I wanted to make a journal entry, not annoy you with my singing. Well. . .
Now that spring is (hopefully) about to start, I can go out again and take pictures with friends. And this is your chance.
We've already got a lot of ideas for pictures, but the more the better. That's why you guys can all make suggestions and I'll try to make the best out of it.
These are our ideas so far:
- pics with duct-tape, writing and blood (now, obviously, that idea escaped my brain)
- pics on which we girls dress like men
- a new version of the three monkey
- pics with mutilated barbie dolls (again. . . my idea)

Ohhhhh, and pictures of my Joker vest coming as soon as I've finished the shirt. My amazing fabric arrived yesterday XD
