Hello everybody,
after a lot of thinking (and a lot of listening to my grandma, who, after all, is right from time to time) I have decided to try and apply at an
art academy for
Fashion Design.
Pros:
I can sew. I made a Renaissance Dress (which isn't finished, that's why I haven't put it online), and some other stuff like:
Bellatrix Dress
Mrs Lovett Dress
Joker Costume Part 1
Jacket - Harley Quinn StyleI have a lot of sketches for other things. I am going to make a Harley Quinn DRESS for a friend to wear at the next book fair and if we find someone to be Poison Ivy, I'm gonna make that costume, too. I also want to make a 60s dress for the summer and maybe a ball dress just to see if I can do it. And next week I'm gonna buy fabric for a simple (but funny) jacket.
I hope to get an internship at our theater's costume section because that's a job I could imagine doing later after I finished and the school wants a 9 month internship. So keep your fingers crossed, will you?
Contra:
I can't draw for my life -.- If you look through my gallery you'll find a few pencil pieces and some things I tried to draw with photoshop and they aren't good. My friend has agreed to teach me a few things and I really WANT to learn (I have more than a year to get better at drawing) but what I need is someone to tell me what doesn't look so good and what I could do better. That's why I'm gonna post my attempts here on D.A. and I hope that you'll be so kind to give me some advice. That would be really, really helpful

First piece to be posted will be a Harley Quinn drawing. I've done the outlines so far and now comes the shading and detail part.
